Hi I'm Laura! You can also call me Malaine or Maleng or Malenggay. I'm from the Philippines. I'm a Entrepreneur and an artist. I love food, fashion, art, music and sports (volleyball). I have a son and a partner who are my constant inspirations. :D

This Blog will consist of my food experiences like what I ate outside my home, What I cook at home and What I'm craving for. Haha!
I will be opening up a small food stand in our area and hopefully have a restaurant in the near future.

Tomorrow is THE DAY!

                       

Well, tomorrow I’ll be auditioning for Masterchef Philippines at Batangas City. I’ll be with my partner, sister and her officemate. Im scared and excited at the same time and I don’t know what to expect. I just hope that the dish that I will present will be good enough for me to qualify for the next round!

So, the dish that I’ll be preparing for the audition is Lasagna Roll Two Ways.

I’ll be making my own pasta for this hoping that the judges will see my technique.

Since I should bring a signature dish, I decided to make a Meatball Lasagna Roll and Spinach Cream Cheese Roll since people know that I love cooking pasta and how good it taste. :D 

And hopefully my plating would also show my creative side since I’m also a designer (of clothes).

So there. Crossing all my fingers and toes and hopefully I get to fulfill my dream of becoming a chef someday. All I know is that I want to cook for the rest of my life and make everyone happy with my cooking :D I know that cooking is something that I am very passionate about and I hope the judges will see that.

It&#8217;s my late grandpa&#8217;s birthday today and we celebrated it with the whole family including grandma :) We don&#8217;t have any birthday cake available and my son fyo wanted to blow a candle so I grabbed my Frozen Brazo de Mercedes and Frozen Mango Torte from the freezer and my son looked for a candle in the kitchen. And this is what happened next :D
